Gawad Bauangueño

Bauan, Batangas | 10 Outstanding educators and 96 Top 1 students were among those awarded during the Gawad Bauangueño held last August 4, 2023 at Plaza Orense, Bauan, Batangas.

Present during the program were officials from LGU Bauan – Mayor Ryanh Dolor, Vice Mayor Ronald Cruzat and SB Members; guests BM Arlene Magboo, BM Wilson Rivera and former Cong. Raneo Abu; Bauan DepEd – PSDS Ma’am Aurelia Aguila and Dr. Andrea Hernandez, school heads/principals and teachers; and student-awardees and their parents.

Recipients of major awards РOutstanding Public Educators and Outstanding Private Educators are teachers and principals coming from Elementary, Junior and Senior High Schools. The awardees went under the rigorous deliberation of the Gawad Bauangue̱o Convenors Group and Selection Committee with members that included people from the academe and Hon. Leon R. Ramos Jr., SB Committee Chairperson for Education.

Elementary and High School student-awardees for Academic Excellence are learners who gained the Top 1 spot among their class while recipients of special awards are students who excelled from several academic and extra-curricular competitions that they represented. Other special awards were also given for School and Teacher Categories.

The Rotary Club of Bauan and Rotaract Bauan also sponsored the Outstanding Educator and Outstanding School Administrator awards with selection committees composing of officers and members of both organizations.

Gawad Bauangueño now on its 6th year is an award-giving body recognizing and commending teachers and school heads for their dedication and commitment in their field of works, as well as giving citations to learners for their academic or extra-curricular excellencies.
