Operations briefings

23 July 2025 – Operations briefing was held at Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, the designated Emergency Operations Center (EOC) conducted by Incident Commander EnP Belina Macuha-Montalbo, Atty. Ava Talag – EOC Manager, and Mayor Wendah Katrina Rivera-Dolor, Responsible Official (RO). Members of the committees included personnel from LGU and NGAs -PNP, BFP & PCG.

Highlights of the discussions

– weather updates on the typhoon’s track and intensity forecast

– situational reports on several barangays monitored and visited during the day

– reports from the Camp Manager on evacuees

– reports from NGAs

– approval by the RO of the recommendation/motion to extend the effectivity until Friday, July 25, of EO No. 24 AN ORDER EXTENDING THE SUSPENSION/CANCELLATION OF IN-PERSON CLASSES OF ALL LEVELS IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN THE ENTIRE MUNICIPALITY OF BAUAN DUE TO PAGASA FORECAST OF HEAVY RAINFALL DUE TO THE SOUTHWEST MONSOON ENHANCED BY TS DANTE AND TD EMONG

– barangay officials are to update their contact numbers

– concerns and requests from barangay officials

– volunteers’ coordination with the IC and EOC Manager

Present during the meeting were SB Members Hon. Guenn Abante, Hon. Jem Garcia, Hon. Josephine Gimeno and Hon. Jelly Adel. Barangay Captains or barangay representatives attended the meeting via Zoom.
