ELA 2022-2025

LGU Bauan conducted its Executive Legislative Agenda (ELA) formulation last September 7-9, 2022 at Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Spearheaded by Mayor Ryanh Dolor and attended by Vice Mayor Ronald Cruzat together with all Sangguniang Bayan Members, Department Heads & Section Chiefs, Bauan DepEd and representatives from NGAs – PNP & BFP. It was facilitated by MPDC thru its Coordinator, Engr. Melvin B. Arevalo with EnP Celio Francia (MLGOO) and Mrs. Nerissa G. Contreras (LGOO VII / Cluster Head) as Resource Speakers.

Group activities started as lectures and discussions by speakers, facilitator and department heads or representatives were utilized. During the workshops issues and concerns were identified within every departments and determined possible solutions to each.

The seminar formation was focused on the review of LGU’s Vision & Mission; formulation of goals and objectives; crafting of priority programs, projects and activities (PPAs); identification of PPAs for legislative support; and determining ELA-Capacity Development.

At the end of the discussion, Mayor Dolor gave his insights on the matters while Vice Mayor Cruzat emphasized the Sangguniang Bayan’s full support.

ELA is a planning document mutually developed and agreed upon by the executive and legislative departments of an LGU for its elective officials’ three-year term of office. An instrument that embodies strategic plans for all projects, activities and programs to be implemented by the Executive with the counterpart laws and ordinances enacted by the Legislative. It is a meaningful mechanism program embodying good governance.
