CLUP (2021-2030) Deliberation

Bauan thru MPDC held its Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) 2021-2030 deliberation before the Provincial Land Use Committee last Oct 28, 2022 at Bauan Plaza Hotel.

Mayor Ryanh Dolor, Vice Mayor Ronald Cruzat and SB Members, Municipal Department Heads, Asst. Dept. Heads and Section Chiefs were present during the deliberation to answer queries from the panelists. Also invited to the said activity are representatives from leading land developers including Boomtown, Sta. Lucia and Amaia.

Contrary to other LGUs, Bauan thru MPDC headed by Engr. Melvin Arevalo together with her staff took the initiative of formulating the CLUP without hiring external consultants, unburdening our municipality from incurring consultant fees and other additional expenses.

CLUP is both a planning and legal tool use in managing a municipality’s whole territory including its land area and waters.
